Developing a new play, CHAOS THEORY, OR SOMETHING ABOUT BUTTERFLIES (title is subject to change) with the Wampus Cat Collective (new name!) — It has been a year since we all met in the Jackalope Playwright’s Lab and we still meet on Saturdays for support, accountability, and lots and lots of pages.
Wrapping up my internship at Lawyers’ Committee for Better Housing, working to prevent homelessness and eviction in low-income communities by providing case management, advocacy and access to funding. Check out LCBH — super proud of the work we do.
Opened GRACE, OR THE ART OF CLIMBING at Stage 773. Fell in love with rock climbing. Fell in love with beautiful collaborators. Fell in love with making plays — again and again and again.
Upcoming: I will be directing L.M. Feldman’s beautiful play GRACE, OR THE ART OF CLIMBING at Brown Paper Box Co. this summer at Stage 773.
My new play, REVIVAL, was given a staged reading at the Frontier, as part of the Jackalope Playwright’s Lab. Biggest thanks to Calamity West, Kaiser Ahmed, gorgeous actors Chelsea David, Francesca Sobrer and Brynne Frauenhoffer, and the Jackalope Playwright’s Lab for the love, support, and encouragement!
I started my first-level field placement at Lawyers’ Committee for Better Housing in the Supportive Services department. We offer pro-bono legal and supportive services to people who are at risk of eviction and homelessness. We advocate from a trauma-informed, feminist perspective, helping folks secure more stable housing and/or gain access to funds to cover back rent and/or moving expenses.
